These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of sottomayorshop.com (the “Site”) and your purchases from Sottomayor Shop (“we”, “us” or “our”). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. We currently ship only to addresses in the United States.
2. Products and descriptions
We try to describe and display our products accurately, using the specifications provided by the manufacturers. Colors and details may look slightly different on your screen. If a product you receive is not as described, contact us (see section 7).
3. Prices and availability
Prices are shown in US dollars. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout. Prices and availability may change without notice. If a product is listed at an incorrect price or becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you and you may choose to cancel your order for a full refund.
4. Orders and payment
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship the product. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example because of a pricing error, suspected fraud or lack of stock; if you were charged, you will receive a full refund. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors, and you agree to provide current and accurate payment information.
5. Shipping and delivery
Orders ship from warehouses in the United States. Shipping is free unless stated otherwise at checkout. The estimated delivery time is 1 to 9 business days after your order is confirmed, unless a different estimate is shown on the product page. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed; carriers may be delayed by events outside our control.
If we cannot ship your order within the time we stated, we will notify you and give you the option to agree to the delay or cancel your order for a full refund of the unshipped items. Tracking information is sent when available. Risk of loss passes to you when the product is delivered to the carrier-confirmed address.
6. Damaged, defective or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, contact us promptly with your order number and photos of the product and packaging. We will offer a replacement or a refund. Returns and refunds are also subject to our Refund and Returns Policy, when published on the Site.

8. Warranties
Products may be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, where one is offered; its terms are set by the manufacturer. Except as stated in these Terms and to the extent permitted by law, products are sold without any other express warranty. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
9. Product use and safety
Many of our products are electrical test and measurement tools. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and safety ratings (for example, CAT ratings on meters), and use qualified professionals for work on electrical installations.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or the products, and our total liability for any claim related to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
11. Use of the Site
You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to access it without authorization, interfering with its operation, or using it for fraud or any unlawful purpose. You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential.
12. Intellectual property
The content of the Site, including text, graphics and logos, belongs to us or our licensors. Product names and brands belong to their respective owners.
13. Privacy and changes to these Terms
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version in effect when you place an order applies to that order. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Sottomayor Shop is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
