Sottomayor Shop sells test and measurement instruments, power tools, 3D printing supplies and gear for makers and content creators. Everything we list ships from a warehouse inside the United States, so orders do not cross a border after you buy them.
How we choose what we sell
We check stock and origin item by item before a product goes on the site, and we leave items out when we cannot verify them. In practice that means:
- US stock confirmed at the source, not assumed from a listing.
- US plug and voltage (110–120 V, or 100–240 V dual voltage). If the plug or voltage is unclear, we do not list the item.
- Radio devices only with a confirmed FCC ID.
- No lasers above class 2, no loose lithium batteries, no children’s products, no medical claims.
- Photos that match the exact model and the exact contents of the box.
How we write
Product pages use the manufacturer’s own specifications. Articles on our blog state what they are based on: our own use, the vendor’s documentation, or public pricing checked on a stated date. We never describe testing we did not perform, and we never publish invented reviews or ratings.
Some articles contain affiliate links. When they do, it is disclosed at the top of the article and on our affiliate disclosure page. A commission never changes a recommendation.
Shipping and delivery
Orders ship from United States warehouses. Each product page shows the delivery estimate for that item, based on the carrier’s stated transit time.
